Chandelier – LED Raindrop Modern Hanging, Dining Room

The LED Raindrop Chandelier suspends a curtain of thin lit rods at staggered heights, and the effect is exactly what it sounds like — frozen rain caught mid-fall above the table. Hung over a long dining surface it pulls the eye up and gives the room vertical depth without taking up visual real estate. In an entryway with a stairwell, the rods drape down the open volume and turn the negative space into the focal point. The piece is dramatic, but it doesn't shout. It just lets the geometry do the work.

Each rod is solid acrylic, edge-lit by individual LED nodes inside an aluminum top plate so the light reads as continuous along the length of the rod. The canopy and suspension cables are matte chrome over steel, designed to disappear against light ceilings. The LED driver is enclosed and sealed in the canopy, wired for 90 to 260 volt AC universal input. Rod lengths and arrangement are factory-set for a layered, staggered look; nothing to adjust at install. Color temperature is fixed warm-to-neutral white, easy to live with day to day.

Sized for medium to large rooms — dining rooms with eight-foot-and-up tables, double-height entries, stairwell volumes, lofted living rooms. Best on ceilings nine feet and taller so the full curtain of rods can hang correctly. Hardwired ceiling install only; we recommend two people for the suspension stage.
